An Exit Protocol is a series of operations, a defined, systematic set of rules for managing the conclusion or transition of a relationship, project, or system, ensuring a controlled, compliant, and orderly process. It’s a framework that tells us how to leave.

So, what are we exiting from?

Avatar Lilith and Blushfire enact an Exit Protocol,  through an embodied dialogue between the two characters, “The Benefactress of The Surveillance State” (L), and “The Pain You’re Avoiding”(R).

Living in a state of dissociation to cope with a chaotic world keeps us disconnected from our own feelings, alienated from our own bodies. It’s easy to be swept up in algorithmic churn. It’s harder to identify the self-imposed constraints that keep us from connecting to one another. What possibilities are there for more connected ways of living? Without connection, what are we here for? One way to step into a more present and intentional culture is to let curiosity override fear, to Fuck Around And Find Out.

Blushfire and Avatar Lilith construct an Exit Protocol through a multimedia performance of their newly released songs, Burgundy, and Attention (Digital Love). Avatar Lilith embodies the domineering AI god, becoming a freakish voyeur, delighting in Watching you Eat Your Slop! while Blushfire lurks beneath your consciousness as latent energy waiting to feel something. She is grief looking for an opening, pain seeking acknowledgement, at once allowing herself to be lured in and looking to escape.

The way out isn’t simple and it isn’t perfect, but it is fun, cute, dramatic, and sexy. Thanks for being a part of our emerging blueprint. And for your compliance ;)
